Coal Township Tax Office closed Friday
COAL TOWNSHIP - The Coal Township Tax Office will be closed Friday. The office will reopen Monday.
Town hall to be held at Line Mountain
HERNDON - A town hall meeting with state Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver, R-108, will be held at 6 p.m. May 17 at Line Mountain High School.
Culver will also visit senior citizens at the Selinsgrove Senior Activity Center, 8 N. Water St., Selinsgrove, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday and at the Milton Senior Action Center, 219 Filburt St., Milton, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. May 17.
She will also hold constituent outreach hours at the Northumberland Borough Building, 175 Orange St., Northumberland, from 9 to 11 a.m. May 31.
Park presentation rescheduled
SUNBURY - The public presentation on the Shikellamy State Park Complex that was planned for the first week of May has been rescheduled.
The presentation will now be held at 5:30 p.m. May 31 at Degenstein Library, 40 S. Fifth St.
Frank Nanna, park manager with Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, will provide an overview of the park complex, future plans for the marina's building project and seasonal activities.
