COAL TOWNSHIP - Midnight Riders Ministries will be launching at Mountainside Assembly of God Church in Coal Township, 1900 Trevorton Road, at 10:30 am. Sunday.

The Rev. Jerry Conley is "taking it to the streets" on his Harley Davidson to preach the gospel and raise funds for men and women to be set free from the bondage to drugs and alcohol through the Christ-centered Teen Challenge Program.

After a difficult childhood that included drug addiction, prison and shotgun wounds, Conley was "delivered by faith in Jesus Christ" through a teen challenge program in Kentucky in the late 1970s. His life was quickly transformed, and within two years he was resident director of the very program where he was helped. He has been preaching the gospel ever since.

Conley has set up the Broken Heart Fund with Philadelphia Teen Challenge with the aim of helping to pay the $1,000 program entrance fee for those men and women who cannot afford it. Sponsors are being sought as Jerry will be going on a 50-mile motorcycle ride through the toughest neighborhoods in Philadelphia.

All, especially bikers, are welcome to Sunday's event. For more information, call 648-8818 or find Midnight Riders Ministries on Facebook.
