N. Schuylkill, Shamokin take lead
North Schuylkill took the lead in Week No. 2 in the high school division of the Stock Market Game, sponsored locally by Sunbury Motor Co. and The News-Item, while Shamokin Area was on top in the middle school ranks.
Each team starts with a hypothetical $100,000 for the 10-week contest in which they trade stocks.
Totals reported Saturday by EconomicsPennsylvania, which coordinates the game, are as follows:
High school division: North Schuylkill, $99,981; YouthBuild, $98,761; Line Mountain, $98,614; Shamokin Area, $95,698.
Middle school division: Shamokin Area, $99,839; Line Mountain, $99,800; North Schuylkill, $99,083.
