6 p.m.: Parade

Following parade: Entertainment by Marla & The Juniper Street Band (Market and Arch streets)

Dusk: Memorial Luminaries

Saturday

7:30 a.m.: registration for 5K Run or Walk, Kemp Memorial Stadium

9 a.m.: run begins

(The following activities are at the festival main stage, Market and Arch streets, unless otherwise indicated)

9:50 a.m.: Church bells ring

10 a.m.: Cameron Colliery whistle blows to signify start of festival

"In Shamokin" by Chris Farrell

Prayer by the Rev. Sam Bellavia, Shamokin Christian and Missionary Alliance Church

Butterfly release in memory of Frederick "Fritz" Reed

Special presentation of the Pennsylvania Association of State Retirees Educational Support Foundation's Lauretta Woodson Award, to educator and support professional to recognize their efforts on behalf of students and public education. This year's award goes to Rick Wehnke, elementary art teacher at Shamokin Area School District, chosen for outstanding effort and programs he designed and instituted at the school. Award for a support professional will be presented to Ethel Dinklocker, faithful and loyal employee of the school district.

"God Bless America" by Angela Kinder

10:30 a.m.: Vic Boris

11 a.m.: Moyer's School of Dance

Noon: Motivation Station presentation

1 p.m.: Combat Field Memorial Service, Hiker Monument, Lincoln and Market

1:30 p.m.: Holt Dancers

2:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Bavarian Polka Band
