MOUNT CARMEL - The man who was flown to Geisinger Medical Center Wednesday following a two-vehicle accident was discharged Thursday, according to a nursing supervisor.
Mount Carmel Borough Kevin Katch identified the victim as Michael Olbrish, 30, of 436 W. Second St., Mount Carmel.
A witness said Olbrish, who was driving a Toyota Corolla, was foaming at the mouth and lethargic after the crash occurred.
The Corolla reportedly rolled twice at 6:45 p.m. after hitting a parked Dodge Neon, owned by Gene Wavorski, of 40 N. Vine St., Mount Carmel.
Olbrish was transported by Kulpmont Ambulance to the Mount Carmel Area Junior-Senior High School soccer field, where he was placed onto a Life Flight helicopter and flown to the Danville hospital.
Katch did not have any further information regarding the accident.
