MOUNT CARMEL - The following hearings took place Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones. Defendants who waived their cases or were held for court were ordered to appear for plea court Feb. 27 at Northumberland County Courthouse, Sunbury, at which time they can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.
n Roger A. Kramer III, 18, of 104 S. Peach St., Mount Carmel, waived to court a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was charged by Mount Carmel Patrolman Matthew Dillman in connection with a Nov. 19 incident at 251 E. Buick St., Mount Carmel.
n Robert S. Kramer III, 24, of Muncy, waived to court two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and a lighting violation relating to a Nov. 6 incident at Greco's Service Station along Route 61 in Atlas near the Viaduct.
The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Kelly Campbell.
n Ann M. Barbour, 48, of 8 Hower Road, Danville, waived to court charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal attempt to commit aggravated assault and two counts of terroristic threats involving a Jan. 6 disturbance at her residence.
Barbour was charged by Riverside Police Chief Isaac L. Ramer with striking her juvenile daughter with an exercise bar, chasing her around a room with two large kitchen knives and threatening to kill her.
n Jonathan J. Facer, 23, of 1508 Wabash St., Coal Township, waived to court two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive in a single lane in connection with a Sept. 9 incident on the Beaverdale Highway (Route 2038).
The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman David Stamets.
