The Patsies Senior Adult Ministry group met Monday, Nov. 21. The meeting was opened with prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. There were 23 members in attendance.
The secretary's report was read by Edwina Savidge and was approved as read.
The treasurer's report was read by Mary Ellen Hoffman and was approved as read.
The Travel Committee report was read by Joyce Koppen, regarding upcoming trips for 2012. For more information or to make a reservation, contact Joyce at 797-3695 or Judie Urick at 648-0105.
November birthdays were Jim Blessing, Betty Jane Bohner, John Demas, Wilma Ditty - who turned 90 and became a lifetime member - Helen Kalejta, Colleen Koppen and Adele Marinari.
Cakes and refreshments were furnished by Kalejta, Catherine Reed, Robert Sager and Koppen.
Monetary donations were received from Anita Lagerman, Dorothy Swank and Ditty.
The group extends sympathy to Barbara Leah whose stepmother, Gladys Dorusak, passed away. Gladys was a member of the Patsies, but, due to ill health, was unable to attend meetings.
The Patsies received a thank you note from the Jack Troutman family.
The annual Christmas party was held Monday and was catered by Hannah's Restaurant in Trevorton. Vic Boris provided musical entertainment and door prizes were awarded.
Meetings will not be held January and February due to possible bad weather. Members with January and February birthdays are asked to contribute to the goodies fund and hall rental fund. Meetings for the new year will begin in March.
The 50/25/25 winner was Norma Slodysko.
The meeting was closed with the singing of the Over 50 song; bingo and cards followed.
