RANSHAW - Surrounding communities continue to show their love and support for 10-year-old Logan Williams, son of Daniel and Michelle Williams, of Irish Valley, who was struck by lightning in September coming home from school after he exited the school bus.
Friday's $20 benefit at The Brady Fire Company from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. joins numerous outpourings of local support. This benefit is coordinated by family members and other helpful citizens to help the Williams family in their time of need.
DJ music will start off the night at 7 p.m., followed by the band Wars Over Wails from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Marla and the Juniper Street Band will be closing out the evening with a set scheduled from 10 p.m. to midnight.
In addition to the musical entertainment, food and selected drinks are included, as well as a variety of raffles and auctions.
Local radio stations Bill 95.3 and Variety 97.7 have also joined forces in participation in the benefit and radio personality Joe Daniels will be the guest MC for the night. A number of businesses and residents also contributed to this event.
