NORTHUMBERLAND - J. Kleinbauer and SUN Home Health & Hospice are joining to present the 11th annual Holiday Tea and Shopping Spree Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
This year's annual gala, to benefit The Friends of SUN Home Auxiliary will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. and will feature a fashion show by J. Kleinbauer Co. and an afternoon tea.
Open to the public, this year's tea and spree will also feature boutique artisans arranged throughout the country club. The boutique merchants donate 15 percent of their proceeds from the event to the Friends of SUN Home Auxiliary.
Vendors include J. Kleinbauer, Country Farm and Home, Joyce's Gift Baskets and Country Crafts, Kathy Loftus Jewelry, Brian Mariano, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Miche Purses, Patchwork Farms Alpacas, Pepine's Pantry, Willow, Winston's Choice K-9 & Kitty Treats, and more.
The event also includes live entertainment, a raffle and door prizes with a variety of items donated by local merchants. Shopping will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., with the tea and fashion show directly following.
The fundraiser, which celebrates the important work of SUN Home Health & Hospice, provides vital resources for the organization to continue its mission to help many Central Pennsylvania residents in their time of need. Support from the community helps the organization to provide care for patients needing services, fund community outreach and helps to assure the delivery of high quality services using necessary technology and equipment.

Area businesses can also get involved by helping to underwrite the event. Sponsorship has been set up to include tickets to the event with participation at certain levels.
