WEST CAMERON TOWNSHIP - A 16-year-old Shamokin female suffered moderate injuries Saturday afternoon when her car rolled over several times along Lower Road (State Route 3004) in this Northumberland County township.
State police at Stonington reported Katrina A. Heim was transported by ambulance to Shamokin Area Community Hospital, where she underwent emergency room treatment before being released.
Police said Heim was driving a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire west at 4 p.m. when her vehicle exited the road on the right and struck a slight embankment, causing the car to roll several times before coming to rest on its roof.
Heim was cited for driving too fast for road conditions.
State police were assisted at the scene by emergency personnel from East Cameron Township.
