Food Pantry distribution
ATLAS - The Mount Carmel Township Food Pantry will hold its monthly distribution from 9 to 11 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 13 at the township garage, for residents in Atlas, Diamondtown, Strong, Locust Gap, Connorsville, Dooleyville and Beaverdale who signed up.
Reunion planned for employees
WATSONTOWN - The Philco/Ford-Zenith Employees Association is inviting all former workers to its 34th annual get-together, planned for Sept. 22 at the Watson Inn.
The goal of the organization is to keep all former co-workers updated. All former personnel from such departments as dimension, mill, sub assembly, sanding/finishing, inspection, repair, electronics assembly, packing, transportation and office. The group believes that they represent a unique and special part of the finest group of craftsmen and women that represents "Made in America" and are proud of their accomplishments and heritage.

Charmismatic Renewal Rally planned
HARRISBURG - The Harrisburg Diocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal will host A "Praise and Teaching Rally" from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept 17 in the Cardinal Keeler Center, 4800 Union Deposit Road.
Walter Matthews, the national executive director of National Service Committee, is coordinating the event and will be one of the speakers. The other speakers from the committee are Jim Archer, who serves as chairperson of the NSC Council for Young Adults, Caroline Gambale-Dirkes, who along with her husband founded 2Tim4.com Ministries and the Rev. Frank Karwacki, the Harrisburg Diocesan liaison (moderator) for charismatic renewal.
There will be a late morning concelebrated Mass, praise music, talks and prayer sessions. The topics of the talks are holiness, prayer, communion and proclamation.

Make checks payable to "Diocese of Harrisburg" in the amount of $20 for each person. A box lunch is included of either chicken or ham.
