SUNBURY - An "indexing error" on tax claims deeds in the county register and recorder's office led to eight property transfers with incorrect information being published in the Sept. 6 edition of The News-Item.
Each of the eight listed a previous property owner, not the current property owner, as having sold their properties through the tax claim bureau.
Here are the corrected versions of those transfers with the name that was incorrect noted in parenthesis:
- Northumberland County Tax Claim Bureau and Joshua L. Leslie and Stephanie L. Marlow (not previous owner B&A Development Company) to Aerial Properties LLC, property in Kulpmont, $4,700.
- Northumberland County Tax Claim Bureau and Jacqueline L. Maloney (not Peter A. Lentini) to Brandon Goretsky, property in Kulpmont, $1,274.40.
- Northumberland County Tax Claim Bureau, Gary J. Witt and Patricia A. Witt (not Katherine L. Phillips and Victoria E. Meisberger) to Aerial Properties LLC, property in Marion Heights, $3,300.
- Northumberland County Tax Claim Bureau, Harry D. Fishburn Jr. (not Bruce W. Wanzie and Catherine A. Wanzie) to Alejandrino Santiago and Michelle Santiago, two properties in Mount Carmel, $1,434.42 and $1,403.34.
- Northumberland County Tax Claim Bureau and Nicholas M. Gummel (not Mildred Radzai aka Mildred M., Merrils) to Ricardo Baptiste, property in Mount Carmel, $15,500.
- Northumberland County Tax Claim Bureau and Catherine A. Haupt and Christina M. Haupt (not Joseph F. Schneider, administrator, and Richard C. Schneider estate) to Valerie Revinski, property in Mount Carmel, $2,500.
- Northumberland County Tax Claim Bureau and Colleen A. Klaus (not Maria Klus) to Megan Godin and Jeffrey Godin, property in Mount Carmel, $1,363.78.
- Northumberland County Tax Claim Bureau and Charles A. Walker (not John W. Hockenbrock) to Du-Rite LLC, property in Mount Carmel, $1,352.67.
