MANDATA - Three people were left temporarily homeless late Tuesday afternoon when fire destroyed the living room of their mobile home at 1228 Raupstal Road near here.
The fire broke out at about 5:15 p.m. off Route 225 near Line Mountain High School in Jordan Township.
Pillow Fire Chief Rodney Romberger said the home is owned by Mark Stone, but he couldn't identify who lived in the home.
The fire chief said flames were contained to the living room of the residence, while smoke and water damage was reported in other parts of the structure.
Romberger said the cause of the fire is still being investigated, but didn't appear to be suspicious.
He said the fire was mostly extinguished when firefighters arrived.
Responding to the call were fire personnel and rescue personnel from Pillow, Herndon, Dalmatia, Hickory Corners and Gratz.
