WEST CAMERON TOWNSHIP - Adam G. Shaffer, 29, of Shamokin, died in a one-vehicle crash at 9:42 p.m. Monday on SR 2044 in West Cameron Township.
State police at Stonington reported Shaffer lost control of his vehicle, a Chevy Cavalier, which struck and traveled up an embankment. The car re-entered the road and rolled onto its roof.
Dawn Madara, 41, of Shamokin, sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to Geisinger Medical Center where she was treated and released.
State police said the investigation is continuing.
