Group holds monthly meeting
MOUNT CARMEL - Anthracite Citizens' Theatre (ACT) held its monthly meeting June 8. The meeting was called to order by President Dan Mock with six people in attendance.
Treasurer Dan Heiser read the financial report, which was accepted as read.
Under previous business, "Annie" rehearsals have started, the main roles have been cast and minor roles will be cast in the coming weeks. Posters, tickets and ad paperwork will be distributed soon.
Under new business, ticket prices were discussed. It was agreed upon that all tickets for Friday and Saturday night shows be $10 for everyone and, for the Sunday matinee only, tickets for children 12 years of age and under will be $8.
Members also talked about an afternoon of readings, with desserts; a show around Halloween, and another dinner theatre.
The next meeting is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at the Mount Carmel Public Library. The public is welcome.
