Mansfield Univ.

Jordan Pinamonti was recently notified by Maravene Loeschke, president of Mansfield University, that she had been named to the President's List of Distinguished Undergraduate Scholars for having attained a 4.0 grade-point average during the spring semester. She achieved this honor for both semesters of her freshman year.

A nursing major, she graduated as salutatorian from Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School in 2010. She is a member of Mansfield University Nursing Association, Students for Peace and Saddle Club, and was recently inducted into Lambda Sigma, the national honor society at Mansfield University.

Pinamonti is employed during the summer at Knoebels Amusement Resort and is also participating in a 10-week summer temp nursing assistant program at Geisinger Health System. She works in the Women's Center where she is gaining practical clinical experience to help further her education at Mansfield University.

She is a daughter of Joseph and Susan Pinamonti, of Elysburg, and a granddaughter of Richard and Eleanor Olcese, of Shamokin, and Joe and the late Martha Pinamonti, of Elysburg.
