Learn about storytelling at Locust Lake
BARNESVILLE - Mary Ann Owens will be speaking about the ancient art of storytelling at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Locust Lake Amphitheater. She will also be sharing some Native American stories. The program will be held in the Locust Lake pavilion in case of inclement weather. The program is free and open to the public. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Mayor declares Father Yohe Day
MOUNT CARMEL - On behalf of counsel, and all our citizens, Mayor J. Kevin Jones proclaims, Monday, June 13, as Father Robert Yohe day in Mount Carmel Borough. Father Yohe is honored for his love and dedication to our area youth, his parsh, our community and the teachings of Jesus Christ. May God's blessings follow him in his future missions for God.
Religious study continues today
