Crystal A. Gajkowski graduated with honors from the Graduate School at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a 4.0 grade point average. She received a Master of Science in Education in health and physical education with an emphasis in health promotion. She was inducted into the Virginia Tech Chapter of the Golden Key International Honor Society. She recently sat for her national certification as a certified health education specialist. She is currently employed by the Department of the Air Force as a fitness program manager and a unit program coordinator for the 99th Airlift Squadron, Andrews AFB, Maryland.
A daughter of Harry and Kathleen Wheary of Coal Township, she is the wife of Staff Sgt. Andrew Gajkowski of Numidia. They presently reside in Waldorf, Md. with their three-year-old daughter, Addison.
