Ralpho library announces May events
ELYSBURG - The annual Memorial Rose Sunday event, benefitting the Ralpho Township Public Library, will be held Sunday, May 27. The event is a perfect time to remember a deceased loved one, honor a special person or acknowledge a special occasion.
For $10, a special rosebud arrangement will be placed in the area church of the donor's choice, honoring the named person. Further information can be obtained by contacting the library at 672-9449 during regular hours.
May is also Amnesty Month at the library and is an ideal time to return all library material free of charge. Students are encouraged to check their school locker and home for misplaced library materials. The library is also collecting empty inkjet cartridges and cell phones, which can be dropped off at the library.
