MOUNT CARMEL -Family Home Medical Home Health Agency announced the addition of Tara (Rovito) Wise to its physical therapy staff. She joins Len Wasileski and Marisa Maige in providing physical therapy to homebound clients.
Wise lives in Kulpmont with her husband, Tom, and her two children, a son, Blake, 7, and a daughter, Mya, 2. She is a daughter of Michael and Patricia Rovito.
She earned her bachelor's degree and a Master of Science in physical therapy through what was then College Misericordia. Wise worked for several other home health agencies on a contract basis for the past 14 years.
In 2008, Wise returned to her alma mater, now Misercordia University, where she earned her doctoral degree in physical therapy in 2010.
She has 15 years experience in various settings ranging from outpatient, home health, inpatient and skilled nursing care. She specializes in post-surgical rehabilitation, pain management, cardio-vascular recovery, wound care, industrial rehabilitation, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and cardiovascular reconditioning.
