WILLIAMSPORT - Robert K. Kehler, 54, whose Paxinos home and pool hall business in Shamokin were raided by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement in October 2010, pleaded guilty Thursday to tax evasion for failing to pay $33,335 in federal taxes and the theft of public money.

A pre-sentence conference was scheduled for 9:30 a.m. July 30, in the office of U.S. District Judge John E. Jones III in Williamsport.

If there are no disputed issues of fact or law, a sentencing hearing will be set at this conference to take place in either Williamsport or Harrisburg.

The charges were filed Feb. 27 in U.S. Middle District Court in Williamsport.
