Emergency responders were kept busy by a blustery period of snow Saturday evening that caused more than a dozen reported incidents.

No injuries were reported in any of the snow-related crashes, county 911 personnel said.

Between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., there were approximately 10 accidents reported to county 911, and another four reports of vehicles stuck.

There were reported crashes just north and south of Elysburg along South Market Street (Route 54) at Sleepy Hollow Road about 7 p.m. and at Yucha Road roughly 10 minutes later.

Routes 54 and 61 and Airport Road in Ralpho Township were designated high-risk, as was Sixth and Chestnut streets in Kulpmont. Communications personnel said there were

reports of vehicles becoming stuck in these high-traffic areas.

Race Street in Shamokin was designated low-risk, where several drivers reportedly were having trouble on the steep street.

One motorist became stuck along Route 487 near the entrance to Knoebels Amusement Resort about 6:50 p.m.

Minor fender-benders were reported in Coal Township at Poplar and Spruce streets at 6:30 p.m. and Woodlawn Avenue and West Water Street about 10 minutes later. There was also a reported crash near the Anthra Plaza about 7 p.m.
