Church to host big game bingo
SHAMOKIN - Mother Cabrini Church, 214 N. Shamokin St., will be hosting Big Game Sunday Bingo in the church hall Sunday. Doors open at noon and games start at 1:30 p.m.
Twenty games will be played for $70 prizes. A Jackpot game for a $700 prize and a new "Break the Bank" game will also be played. There are $20 packages (all you can play) and $10 packages are also available.
A free hot dog and can of soda will be provided for all paid admissions. The snack bar will be open.

Women's heart health talk set
LEWISBURG - Geisinger's Women's Heart and Vascular specialists will participate in the roundtable discussion "The Heart Truth for Women" at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Public Library for Union County, 255 Reitz Blvd.
The discussion will be led by Dr. Kimberly Skelding, interventional cardiologist at Geisinger Health System and director of Cardiovascular Genomics and Cardiovascular Research at Geisinger's Center for Health Research, and Dale Gustitus, a certified registered nurse practitioner in Geisinger's Women's Heart and Vascular Health program.
The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
