STATE COLLEGE - Gabrielle Singh has been elected to membership in the Pennsylvania State University chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest, most selective and most prestigious all-discipline honor society.
Standards for election to Phi Kappa Phi are extremely high. Membership is by invitation only to Pennsylvania State University's top 7.5 percent of second term juniors and the top 10 percent of seniors and graduate students.
Singh has also been granted lifetime membership in Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, in recognition of outstanding scholarship achievement and excellence.
A 2009 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School, she is majoring in psychology. Singh is a daughter of Dr. Gurdial and Susan Singh, a granddaughter of John and Rosemary Shervanick and Gurdarshan and the late Kaushalya Singh Nayar.
