Masser to hold visiting office hours
State Rep. Kurt Masser, R-107, will hold visiting office hours this month in Atlas and Shamokin.
Masser will be at Mount Carmel Township Municipal Building, 300 Laurel St., Atlas, on Jan. 20, and at Shamokin City Hall, 47 E. Lincoln St., Shamokin, on Jan. 27.
He will be at both sites between 10 a.m. and noon in order to assist residents with concerns regarding state programs and services or to discuss state-related issues.
Masser operates a full-time district office at 467 Industrial Park Road, Elysburg, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. His office can be reached at 648-8017, www.repmasser.com or at www.facebook.com/RepMasser.
Hygiene kit giveaway to be held
SHAMOKIN - A hygiene kit giveaway will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Northumberland County Career and Arts Center, Eighth and Arch streets.
The giveaway, sponsored by Central Susquehanna Opportunities Inc., is open to anyone in need. Kits include toiletries, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies.
A giveaway will also be held on the same date and time at Columbia/Montour PA CareerLink, 351 Tenny St., Bloomsburg.
