Bishop Christmas Mass schedule set
HARRISBURG - The Christmas Mass schedule for Joseph P. McFadden, bishop of the Diocese of Harrisburg, includes:
Dec. 24: Christmas Eve Mass; 8 a.m., Camp Hill Prison; 4 p.m., Dauphin County Prison.
Dec. 25: 12 a.m., Christmas Midnight Mass at Saint Patrick Cathedral, 212 State Street, Harrisburg. Singing of Christmas hymns and carols will begin at 11 p.m.; 9 a.m., Christmas Day Mass at St. Joseph, 440 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster.
Santa Sleigh to pass through west end
COAL TOWNSHIP - The Shamokin Rotary Santa Sleigh will pass through the west end of the township Tuesday night.
The sleigh will travel on Walnut and Arch streets and Stetler Drive between 6 and 9 p.m.
This event was canceled Dec. 7 due to rain.
