COAL TOWNSHIP - Margaret Forbes opened the November meeting of the Council of Catholic Women at Our Lady of Hope Church with the Our Lady of Good Counsel prayer.
The minutes, read by Dolly Yocum, secretary, were approved and filed.
The council whas changed the time for the January meeting to 4 p.m. There is no meeting in December.
The council's Christmas party this year will be a covered dish Jan. 17 in the parish center.
The envelopes for the bakeless cake sale were passed out at all Masses, and members were asked to place donations in the collection basket. This is one of only two projects the organization in a year, the other being the carnation sale for Mother's Day.
The meeting was closed with a prayer for loved ones and a roundtable of prayers for all.
Dues will be collected in January.
