Bath salts topic of discussion tonight
ATLAS - The next meeting of the Mount Carmel chapter of Take Our Community Back will be held at 7 p.m. today in the basement of the Atlas Fire Co.
Rick Catino, president and founder of the organization, said he has new information on bath salts to present at the meeting following recent training on the subject of their dangerous effects when consumed.
The public is welcome.
Food pantry distribution Saturday
ATLAS - The Mount Carmel Township Food Pantry will have a distribution from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday for residents in Atlas, Diamondtown, Strong, Locust Gap, Connorsville, Dooleyville and Beaverdale who have signed up.
