COAL TOWNSHIP - Members of the Coal Township 175th Anniversary Committee are offering residents and businesses the chance to be a part of the celebration by taking out a special ad in a commemorative book.
The committee is currently putting together a book of Coal Township's history, from its founding in 1837 to the present. The book is being planned as a hardcover, glossy page book, similar to that of a yearbook or coffee table book that will be approximately 8 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches long and should be available for sale by the spring of 2012.
Those interested in advertising their business inside the book can purchase advertisements inside. Rates are as follows: full page ad, $400; half page ad, $200; quarter page ad, $100. Those interested in putting an advertisement should include on a separate sheet of paper exactly how you would like to see the ad printed.
Individuals and families can purchase patron ads in the book at a cost of $20 each. The title of this portion of the book will be called "Purple and White Patrons." Those purchasing patrons ads should enclose exactly how you want the patron ad to be printed in the book.
All checks for payment should be made out to "Coal Township 175th Anniversary" and can be sent to Coal Township 175th Anniversary, 805 W. Lynn St., Coal Township 17866 by Oct. 31.
