'White Christmas' auditions this week
SHAMOKIN - Auditions for the Northumberland County Council of the Arts and Humanities' production of White Christmas will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today and Wednesday at the Northumberland County Career and Arts Center auditorium, rescheduled from last week.
The show is a '50s style musical that will be revised to be modern and local. Those auditioning can bring a CD for accompaniment, their own piano player or sing a capella.
Music artist to perform at Augusta Bible
SUNBURY - Juniata County Christian music soloist Jeremy Goodling will be ministering in song on Sunday, Sept. 18 at Augusta Baptist Church, 1371 Boyles Run Road, Sunbury. Goodling will be doing a concert at 9 a.m. and sharing in song during the morning worship hour at 10:30 a.m.
Goodling, who sings a variety of Christian music styles including southern gospel, light contemporary, hymns and praise and worship, is celebrating 20 years of music in Central Pennsylvania.
Everyone is welcome to attend, A free will offering will be taken for Goodling's ministry. For more information, call 797-4153.
