Soldiers Circle Association meeting
SHAMOKIN - The Soldiers Circle Association will be holding its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Knocker's Restaurant. All veterans and the public is invited to attend.
Festival will be just peachy
RANSHAW - Salem UCC will hold its Peach Festival, Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the RCA Grounds, Ranshaw. There will be food, entertainment, gift baskets and fellowship all day long. Please order six- and nine-inch peach pies between today and Friday by calling 648-2806. Pies must be picked up by 7 p.m. Aug. 19 at the RCA Grounds. Whole peach pies must be ordered and are limited, so order early.
