Crab Festival to benefit G-SACH
COAL TOWNSHIP - Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital (G-SACH) will host a crab festival from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Ranshaw Civic Association Picnic Grounds to benefit programs and initiatives at the hospital.
The event will include all-you-can-eat hard shell crabs, chicken barbecue, a pig roast and picnic fare. The auxiliary at G-SACH will host its annual basket raffle and a cash bar will be provided by Brady Fire Company.

'Rumors' playing at Courtyard Theater
A full-length Neil Simon comedy, "Rumors," will be performed at The Courtyard Theater over the next two weekends.
Intended for adult audiences, the play will run today and Sunday and Oct. 2 thruogh 4. The Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7 p.m., and the Sunday performances will be matinees, starting at 2 p.m. The theater is located in the Susquehanna Valley Mall.
Tickets for the show will cost $15. Call the box office for reservations at 570-374-0060. Walk-ins are welcome. Cash and credit cards accepted.
The theater will also offer a dinner, catered by That Kitchen Witch of Lewisburg, an hour-prior to each performance. The cost is $35 for dinner and show, and reservations are needed for the dinner by the Wednesday prior.
