ELYSBURG - This week's winners at the Ralpho Township Public Library Bridge Club went to the husband-and-wife team of Ferne and Dale Krothe, of Berwick. Second place went to the partner team of Elizabeth Johnson and Sharon Leisenring. Third place was the partner team of Sandy Gardner and Judi Gori. There was a tie for fourth place between the partner team of Jackie Fox and Beverly Phillips and the one-man "team" of Bob Reed. Tied for fifth place were the partner teams of Mary Ann Levins and Alex Jacoski, and Alice Pensyl and Nancy Booth.
All levels of players are invited to play bridge from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays at the library. Reed, leader of the group, provides some instruction before or during play for those interested in improving their skills.
