Lincoln is program topic
SUNBURY - The Susquehanna Civil War Roundtable will feature "Lincoln Comes to Harrisburg, 1861 and 1865," a program by well-known historian and preservationist Jim Schmick at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24, in the Degenstein Library, 40 S. Fifth St.
The presentation will highlight the events surrounding President Abraham Lincoln's trips to Harrisburg, first in 1861 on the way to his inauguration and then in 1865 on his way to his burial place.

Gentle yoga for people with MS
POTTSVILLE - A new session of Gentle Yoga for People with MS begins Thursday, April 7, at the McGeever Center, 943 Fairmount Ave. The 10-week class will be held every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It is sponsored by the Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Open to participants of all abilities, the class will be adapted to those who wish to do the class seated. The class will be taught by certified yoga teacher Beth Shields.
